Monument to the Martyrs of Liberty. This monument also known as "Coloraos Monument" or "Pingurucho" commemorates an uprising against the absolutism of Fernando VII. The original was built between 1868 and 1900 and was located in the Puerta de Purchena. Demolished by order of Franco city council in 1943, was rebuilt in 1988.
